“The building is so well received by our students and visitors, in fact the primary donor to the facility, which it is named after, the first time he saw it, he actually was brought to tears, because he was moved so much by the design and by the beauty of the building. It has made such an impact on our campus that is just unbelievable.”

“We built a new Student Commons because we really had none. We had a little dingy space that was more or less like a dungeon, that we called the student center, but we had no student commons. So our goal was to provide something to our students that would essentially have a wow factor. That is a term that we actually used during the planning of the building. The bottom line is we got the wow factor.”
