Good design is a thoughtful process producing inspiring spaces and places to enrich people’s lives.  SOA takes pride in designing places for people because people are the ultimate users of spaces and the spirit of places long after the design is complete.  This is the joy of our work; the knowledge that a project has an impact on individuals as well as entire communities.

At SOA, design is a collaborative experience.  Each team member is recognized as a talented individual bringing specific yet diverse strengths that, when combined with the others, promotes a successful balance between the relational, aesthetic, and technical aspects of your project. 

The result is “appropriate design”, inherently embracing basic concepts of energy-conscious, functional, low-maintenance, cost effective, and timeless solutions.  Whether a budget is big or small, a schedule is long or short, or the project is seeking LEED certification or not, we seek to meet or exceed these basic requirements in our work, and the collaboration of our entire team helps us to do so.
